The most important place
you’ve never heard of.

Naseby is a sleepy little village nestled in Northamptonshire.
It’s also the site of an important battle during the English Civil war - a battle which the Royalists lost.
Naseby can genuinely lay claim to be the catalyst for Parliamentary democracy
as well as a whole host of other important things like the British Army and the Bank of England.

Problem is: nobody has ever heard of Naseby.
The Battlefield trust enlisted us to help get people visiting their website and get knowing about Naseby.

I was sent on a literal field trip to visit the site, where a military historian took me on a tour explaining how the battle unfolded one morning in the 17th century. “The most important place you’ve never heard of” came about from my conversation with the guide.
I was keen to juxtapose the historical significance of the event with imagery of the sleepy village.

I developed a new logo, tone of voice, and a set of ads across print, digital and DM.
And now I wait for it to crop up as a question in the Pub quiz on Tuesday.
